Cecilia is the Centre Administrator for the EI CDT. Prior to this role, Cecilia was a Senior Career Advisor for the Bio Launch Fellows Programme at the University of California, Davis, where she taught and advised biosciences undergraduates. She earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California and her Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego.  

Cecilia has over 15 years of teaching experience in primary and secondary classrooms as well as enrichment programmes. She has taught as a high school science teacher, STEAM programme instructor, SAT bootcamp instructor, refugee outreach tutor, university teaching assistant, and instructional aide in special education classrooms. She is passionate about supporting students in their education and beyond. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring new cities, and going on food adventures.
