The Centre brings not only Environment and Data Science research together but crucially Social Sciences. This synthesis of approaches has been instrumental in developing trans-disciplinary research, creating new knowledge and methodological approaches driven by the real-world Environmental challenges being addressed by our students. Underlying this is training within and integration of ethics, governance, and responsible research & innovation principles.
