Smart Agents for Environmental Complex Data Analysis: Applications in Earth Observation
Background
With a background in Applied Statistics and a Master’s in Collective Intelligence (CI) from the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P Morocco), I specialise in the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and CI. My previous projects involved Fuzzy Logic, NLP and LLMs. I also worked for two years as a Health Statistician and Data Scientist at the Benin Ministry of Health.
PhD
Smart Agents for Environmental Complex Data Analysis: Applications in Earth ObservationMy research develops and evaluates human-centred large language model (LLM) smart agents for advanced geospatial reasoning and natural language interaction with Earth Observation (EO) data. The project aims to improve accessibility for non-expert users across policy, science, and community contexts. The research is interdisciplinary, combining computer science, environmental science, and social science, with a focus on responsible AI and capacity-building in Africa.
In Simple Terms...
I am building AI agents that can understand and answer questions about Earth Observation data in natural language, making satellite data accessible to non-experts.
