PhD

Helping Decarbonise the Energy Sector via Digital Twins Technology

Energy generation, transportation and consumption accounts for about 70% of anthropogenic emissions linked to contribute in climate change. This project explores the utilisation of digital twins, powered by AI algorithms, and control theory to characterise, analyse and control electricity network systems at three different hierarchies: asset scale, network scale and grid scale systems. Key research areas: Power systems, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics.

In Simple Terms...

I use AI algorithms and digital twin technology to monitor, analyze and control electricity networks in real-time, helping integrate renewable energy sources safely and efficiently.
