Models are everywhere. They guide decisions in complex, uncertain worlds—but they can’t eliminate uncertainty.

Instead, they frame it, interpret it, and sometimes obscure it.

So how do we model responsibly under uncertainty? How do we make uncertainty visible, usable, and open to challenge? How can we use this to make modelling more effective and relevant? And who gets to decide what “responsible” means?

Join us, in-person or online, at the Responsible Modelling under Uncertainty (RMU2) workshop to explore these questions together.

Over 2 days, through a series of talks and collaborative exercises we will animate these discussions. Firstly, we will interactively explore key issues from interdisciplinary perspectives with leading researchers (Day 1). Secondly, we will turn to actions, both individual and collective, that can be cultivated to progress this incredibly consequential practice (Day 2).

Attendance is free and lunch will be provided. Registration is OPEN, please join us! Register here Responsible Modelling Under Uncertainty
