Student led workshop

The first of our student led workshops was a resounding success. EICDT student Alex Edwards led this exciting 2 day seminar, focused on Post Growth modelling and bringing together the founders of a new post-growth modelling network in person for the first time.

On the second day Alex ran a linked plenary, bringing leading voices from the Global South to Exeter with expertise in decarbonisation, and balancing economic and social impacts, to explore how climate transitions can be aligned with development priorities and social justice. Through case studies from Nigeria, Barbados and Pakistan, speakers shared scenario pathways that highlighted both the opportunities and challenges of building sustainable, equitable futures.
